    Job Description/Responsibilities:

    Entravision Communications is seeking a Chief Engineer to manage all aspects of the technical department including; planning and management of departmental budgets, capital equipment acquisitions, maintenance of station facilities and broadcast Radio and Television equipment – UHF Television Transmitters / FM Radio Transmission equipment. Must be proficient in troubleshooting techniques; oversee IT maintenance, and LAN and networking equipment. Ideal candidate manage station projects and communicate well across departments. Working knowledge of computers, software and networking is essential as well. Three to five years broadcast maintenance experience required with a minimum of one year Engineering management. SBE certification or General Class License desired.

    Required Skills

    SBE certification or General Class License is a plus. Must be proficient in troubleshooting techniques, IT maintenance, Lan and Networking Equipment. Strong business knowledge and employee management and leadership skills also required.

    Required Experience

    Experience in both, repair and maintenance of Television and Radio broadcast equipment. Troubleshoot and repair of all studio equipment. Knowledge of Television and Radio operations and techniques associated with broadcast facilities. Install and maintain equipment needed for proper operation of stations.
